You can wash up to your hearts content with this brush, made from bamboo (super stuff) with sisal bristles.
Being wonderfully durable, it will last an age.
When it finally gives up the ghost, you can simply replace the head with a shiny new one.
The old one can be composted, or put in the wood burner or wood recycling at the tip.
