Are you doing Click & Collect during Lockdown?
Yes! During Lockdown you can collect on Wednesday and Thursday 12pm – 4pm. When you arrive our door may be locked but we will be here – just call us on 0113 3452627 or use the buzzer entry system downstairs to alert us.
We might be able to help you click & collect at other times to suit you – you can try to (re)arrange directly with our Online Shop once you have made your order.
During normal opening hours you can collect when you have been advised your parcel is ready, usually Weds – Sat 10am – 4pm.
I don’t have a Paypal account, how can I pay for my shopping?
Don’t worry, Paypal is simply our ‘payment platform’ you can still pay by card on Paypal if you don’t have a Paypal account, or if you don’t want to use your Paypal account. Just click on the link provided at check out and follow the instructions.
Can I get free delivery on anything?
We offer free delivery on orders over £150 to certain Leeds (LS) postcodes. This is all calculated at checkout. The alternative for smaller orders is ‘click and collect’.
Why can’t I buy items that state ‘Read More’
These items are currently out of stock so you cannot add them to your basket. We are constantly checking stock levels and doing our best to keep everything in stock but sometimes it is out of our hands, and sometimes when something is gone it’s gone, if you find this is happening please just come back and look again another day.
Why is the delivery cost so high? I’ve hardly bought anything!
We have three bands of delivery and a few items trigger the highest delivery fee, this is due to their bulk. Currently we don’t have the option for ‘click and collect only’ on some products though we will in future. If you choose an item that is bulky, e.g. a kart tyre or a stack of wooden boxes, unless you buy a lot of other items it will feel like the delivery cost is high, especially as the cost of the items themselves is so low. If you can’t ‘click and collect’ we suggest you try to come in and buy the items directly from us. Alternatively you could buddy with someone else to increase the size of your order and create more value for money on delivery, as once you have hit the highest delivery fee you won’t pay more. Please rest assured we make no money from delivery, and we are constantly reviewing the best way to do this.
We’re a school, can we purchase items on account?
Yes! Please email us on email@example.com. We can pick and pack and send to you across the UK, and follow up with an invoice, we just need to set up an account for you. If your school already has a Scrap account, or you’re not sure whether it has, it’s easy to confirm. We look forward to hearing from you.
I’ve seen some items on your social media that I want, but they’re not on your online shop. How can I get those?
Just get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org with details of what you’ve seen. It may be the item is click and collect only, or delivery is high or too difficult to add to the online shop, it might be that there are limited numbers of the item and when it’s gone it’s gone or perhaps it’s a one off – whatever the situation we’ll certainly see what we can do.
