When does Click n Collect happen?

Collection of click n collect orders takes place during Scrap’s opening hours Weds – Sat 10am – 4pm (from 14th April 2021). You can only collect your order when you have been advised your package is ready, we will contact you via the email address you gave us during ordering, so please wait to hear from us.

Why can I see something is available but I can’t add it to my shopping bag?

Sometimes you might be asking for more of an item than we have in stock. Say you want 6 of something and we only have 3 in stock you won’t be able to add that to your basket. Either reduce the quantity of that item or just email admin@scrapstuff.co.uk and we’ll see if we can do something this end.

Can I have free delivery on anything?

We offer free delivery on orders over £150 to certain Leeds (LS) postcodes. This is all calculated at checkout. The alternative for smaller orders is ‘click and collect’.

Why is the delivery cost so high? I’ve hardly bought anything!

We have three bands of delivery and a few items trigger the highest delivery fee, this is due to their bulk. Currently we don’t have the option for ‘click and collect only’ on some products though we will in future. If you choose an item that is bulky, e.g. a kart tyre or a stack of wooden boxes, unless you buy a lot of other items it will feel like the delivery cost is high, especially as the cost of the items themselves is so low – we do flag this delivery cost in the item description. If you cannot do click n collect you could buddy with someone else to increase the size of your order and create more value for money on delivery, as once you have hit the highest delivery fee you won’t pay more. Please rest assured we make no money from delivery, and we are constantly reviewing the best way to do this.

We’re a school, can we purchase items on account?

Yes! Please email us on admin@scrapstuff.co.uk. We can pick and pack and send to you across the UK, and follow up with an invoice, we just need to set up an account for you. If your school already has a Scrap account, or you’re not sure whether it has, it’s easy to confirm. We look forward to hearing from you.

I’ve seen some  items on your social media that I want, but they’re not on your online shop. How can I get those?

Just get in touch with admin@scrapstuff.co.uk with details of what you’ve seen. It may be the item has already sold out, or can only be bought in store, or delivery is high or too difficult to add to the online shop, it might be that there are limited numbers of the item and when it’s gone it’s gone or perhaps it’s a one off – whatever the situation we’ll certainly see what we can do.
