SCRAP Community Sewing Bee Challenge

Put your sewing skills to the test, Weds – Sat 9 – 12 Sept 2026 at SCRAP

Take on the Community Scrap Challenge

Fancy putting your sewing skills to the test?

In conjunction with Sustainable Fashion Week, we’re opening up our Sewing Bee challenge to the community from 9th Sept to 12th Sept 11am – 2pm.

YOU WILL NEED TO BE AN EXPERIENCED SEWER TO USE OUR MACHINES.

Drop in to our Creative Reuse Hub where a selection of SCRAP materials will be already set up, hop on a sewing machine and see what you can create in just ONE HOUR!

Time yourself!

We provide:
• A selection of SCRAP materials
• Free sewing machine use
• The one-hour challenge.

You bring your sewing skills, sewing kit and imagination!

It’s completely unaided — no instructions, no help, just you, your creativity and a pile of SCRAP!

Finished your creation? Show it off and add it to our community display! You can pick it up at the end of the month.

Can you make something amazing in 60 minutes?

Come along and give it a go!

It’s FREE and for Adults only.

If you have any questions please contact admin@scrapstuff.co.uk.
